Looks like you guys had alot of fun
Hahaha I had to start laughing seeing the MX5 just scream through on the inside, I'm surprised it made mincemeat of a GTS-T? Gives me confidence for Taupo. Aiming to piss all over my Mk3 GTI's measly time.

Heres a protip for you if you ever change the gearbox oil:Shane. wrote:Changed the engine oil today, first time I've ever done it by myself. Was pretty straightforward but still feeling proud!
The fill plug is tapered, thats why it wont screw in all the way. Found that out after an impressive amount of swearing.

I ordered the parts from USA. Check the thread about good suppliers, I think I posted a link in it. About $120NZD landed iircShane. wrote:I'm considering it, cost would be the major factor. Yesterday I refit the repaired thermostat housing; reassembled the engine and refilled the coolant.
Unfortunately there was still another leak. Removed 1 end of the top radiator hose and pressurised the system with dad watching for leaks.
Turns out the new tee piece hadn't worked and the housing had a tiny crack in it and the fitting going into the radiator/waterpump return pipe was corroded out as well.
Going to be getting replacement parts from Mazda today. This is getting expensive...
