I will be leaving Whangarei at 7:30am and expect to arrive somewhere around 9:30am (the Brynderwyns is closed for a month so all traffic is being detoured via mangawhai) which means I most likely will not be able to group with you but I am sure we can find each other on the day

Will wait and hear from Matt as to his arrival and maybe any others. If all random times I will wait for you so we at least get 2 cars of same breed together.... Im always keen on a sleep in after all.

I am giving a mate a ride down, so to truly horrify him for the initial minute of the ride I have a usb stick with Aqua's "Barbie girl" specially downloaded for his first ever ride in an mx5 before I laugh and swap the usb stick for some real music.

I think the look on his face will be priceless! (unless he really gets into it, then I will be the one looking mortified)

Nice offer 2low2c but have just sent email on how to get to Pak n Save before seeing your post. Might be easier for the out of towners to find that location. If MrGrey and Mattapo read this prior maybe they can update their GPS and confirm on here if they wish to go to tour wkshop. I know where it is so if they confirm then i shall also. Going out for dinner now but back online in a couple of hours.

Awesome day, had a lot of fun and it was great to catch up with some of you before heading back up north. Siren took some awesome photos and will most likely get around to sorting them out in the up coming week depending on time.

A great day indeed...... Those promo girls had nice Double Overhead Cams.....the cars were even better. Im sure the photos will do them justice. A lot of sweat time and funds been poured into them. Its nice to see the old rides we used to take for granted in the 80's gleeming in better than new condition.
