Mx5 rollbar help

Post by Lowkwidcrew » Thu Aug 29, 2013 1:14 pm

Hi guys new to this forum :D
As you can probably already guess i need help with info on getting a rollbar.
The reason im wanting a rollbar is, im soon going to start doing track/drift days and would mostly want it for rollover Protection/reassurance.
Has anyone out there made there own before? my dads a certified welder so easily capable of helping me out.
Any help appreciated :)

Pretty sure it was TTT Auto Engineering who did Furai's. They've been recommended to me from some of my friends in touring cars too so I assume they're quite good.

Hey that's awesome dude!

There is another member up your way called MrGrey!

I'm sure there are some motorsport shops up there, if you get a chance, go for a drive around and get names!

Cheers guys! I've been messaging Furai on oldschool forum about advice for my first drift day, il hit him up for place and price. :)
Really? Awesome! Haven't really seen any other modified mx5's up here! Everything seems to be pretty standard.
Kieran that' exactly what I had in mind! I tried to upload a image but couldnt due to being a new member :L

you may occasionally see my ride around town, but yeah, pretty much every MX5 I see up here is stock.

TTT engineering did mine, totally recommend them!
I took pictures of different roll bars with me to show the them what I wanted, they made a cpl of suggestions and I'm damm happy with the final product.
Worth every penny - and I'm a cheap bastard!
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.
