The number of times I've gotten to the point of some projects thinking "This is probably a good time to stop and move on to the next thing." =P

Apologies if that didn't work, I'm on my phone.

Best thing I can say right now is that I recommend everyone should check the drain hoes in their roadsters! Patching up the sil isn't cheap!!

All from something little that my friends and I thought wouldn't be too much of an issue. It's very deceiving! On the plus side all of my extras are getting painted and fitted this weekend too. It'll be like extreme makeover car edition- except its not on TV and im the one fuckin paying for it ;P

Youch. Yea I checked mine before I bought my miata. I also regularly stick a coat hanger in there after heavy rains to make sure it's not clogged.

The correct place for a bov is the easiest place for you to fit it. Its location has no real bearing on performance.
Blow up a balloon, now let the air out. The air doesn't just come out of the front half of the balloon, the whole thing goes down.
The bov will drop the pressure of the whole system regardless of where its fitted.

I do all of my shooting with a 50mm 1.8 on a 550d, nothing crazy!

It's hard sometimes with a crop-sensor camera though, it zooms in too much, for those photos I was almost out of the room and behind toolboxes and benches like a monkey!

Definitely like your camera work too CordedBowl :)

50mm f/1.8 is an awesome lens for any camera, though not always suitable for specific application, heh. I think Canon make a 35mm f/2 though, which would be a bit more normal, or possibly a Sigma 30mm f/1.4... but now price is up, up, up! You'd both definitely love the 30mm f/1.4 on your crop sensor cameras for really narrow depth of field!

I love my Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D (more than I'd like the newer G version) but I'm using full frame so keep the actual focal length and narrower depth of field!

I'm going for a sigma 1.4 30 next.

Using an old Pentax atm ;)
