So I didnt have time to install my coilovers before the track day but it was still good fun. Was pretty average and inconsistent but had a great time.
Heres a video of my better runs. I was getting there towards the end of the day but I need to work on my line and use tyres with more grip. Hopefully the coilovers help with improving consistency.

Heres a pic of the coilovers,

Will strip the yellow paint and get them in Tuesday I think. They look to be set pretty low but only time will tell...

You'll have a bit of rattle or interior due to the stiffness, but they'll definitely give you good feedback. I've only ever running 80/90A in my old car, but will be getting the Megan ones from Alex. Too much inconsistencies with what people are finding with Mazdaspeed (3 versions and the hard ones are never available, casting problems etc)

Why does your rear wheel and guard look a little rippled?
Last night i organised to buy a link v5 for the basis of my turbo build, its got a plug and play adapter with it for an NA mx5 and was on a t28 powered mx5 before so the tune wont be miles off when i do my t25 build
Today i got some led tail and reverse lights from work, they are a heap brighter and reverse is now white not yellow

Got Silk Roads in, Compression is firmer than the Bilsteins but rebound is nicer. Quite firm and very controllable when the back steps out, much less roll too which is good.
For anyone who was thinking of getting similar for low purposes thats as far as the back goes without removing locking rings.

Will take some decent pics tomorrow.

The general rule with swaybars is for stiff springs use soft swaybars and for soft springs use stiff swaybars.
Since you're now running pretty stiff coilovers factory sways will be fine

Depends how low it is, 290-300mm hub to arch in the rear seems to about the limit on stock eccentrics/bushes for -2°(-1.5° +0.5° cert tolerance)authentic wrote:Wheel alignment + cert booked for tomorrow. Hopefully he can wind the camber out enough.
