Finally had a day off work to take out and replace the coolant return pipe and thermostat housing.

Found the culprit of the leak.

Got it all back together and reset the cam timing, went to crank it but the battery was flat
Oh well, have chucked the battery on charge and will try again tomorrow

just a quick heads up,We have got the steel pipes for those and the thermo housing being custom made in Taiwain,Excat replica's,
Had the sample's ,and fitted to local regular custy cars ,mint fitting, can't tell from the OEM pipe
Being shipped in the next 3 or 4 weeks,I will post a add up when they arrive,WAAYY cheaper than buying the complete housing from Mazda.

I know you can go the brass fitting route but these will keep it all looking tidy and not jerry rigged up

 I can almost guarentee you can make them cheaper than mazda charged for them.
Picked up new thermostat housing, o-ring, lower pipe and gasket for ~$350 trade price

Would have probably been miles easier if I'd dropped out the power steering pump

Havent looked too far into it, just started drinking.
But it is a constant stream as i fill the radiator and it drips down the front of the block like it has this whole time.

Oh god, hope its not that
I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be the 3rd radiator hose that goes onto the return pipe that i just replaced.
Really hoping it is that hose

Random question :- im looking at Raybrig headlights for my car, specifically rectangular ones. But with me being as fussy as i am - i only like the height and width of the 180sx Raybrig lights. Has anyone attempted to fit these to an mx5 and would i have to have custom surrounds made? My friend is selling some cheap.

Any help is appreciated!!
