It's fine now =\
I've been doing it on my driveway.. which is Not very flat at all.
Just checked again in the garage,
All within 1 - 3 mm (Janky gaurd rolling =) )

But,
At the pinch weld it's 90mm rear and 85mm front

=)

No corner weighting yet..
Still trying to get it where I want it.

Sweet as, they handle nicely with the back slightly higher than the front.

Fia comes down to money more than safety. A nzkw is probably a better seat than a momo t frame but they don't have the moon beams to pay for the testing. I don't mind other momo seats but you couldn't give me a t frame.

A set of 15" wheels.

Bumper mouth,windscreen surround and wheels in black.

Mask up, spray primer and then a couple of coats of satin black and hey presto a whole new look.

More funsies today. Did anyone realise how hard it is to remove an MX5 rear bumper?

For starters, I am now in love with Plastidip. I decided to try it on the finish panel and loved the outcome, only did 2 coats and it came out fine. Hard to get used to, it is self leveling but still ran a bit which scared me, seemed to dry fine. Will have to look at it in daylight...

Secondly and more importantly. I've got my "race" bumper on. This weekend she will be getting the shit hacked out of her so I can start fitting the splitter and making sure it fits properly. Will also give me a proper place or 2 to mount it to (i.e the crash pad behind the bumper, lol?) Quick same night pic to show off how she looks.

Ha!, speaking of Plasti Dip..

I just did one of my door handles this afternoon as a trial/practice. I used 3 coats of black, and one coat of the Glossifier. I'll probably re-do it with only two coats of black, but two coats of gloss tomorrow.

Yeah man, its super easy to use. I didn't have to perfectly mask around the handle or anything. I just sprayed to cover the door handle completely, let it dry, then sliced around the handle lightly with a knife and peeled away the surrounding excess. Same thing for the keyhole.

^ Correct they are, the left hand side fit, the right hand does not.

I think BRM said that KBM (Kayne Barry Motorsport) might be able to fab something up!

a little pointless posing from me

I fitted a ducktail and have been waiting for the glue to dry and I am reasonably happy with the result. The CF vinyl is a two piece so the ducktail itself is bonded to the bootlit itself. The final photo shows my fleabay special front indicators of awesomeness.

this is shot during the 'trying to guess how long the adhesives will take to dry' phase (I gave it 48 hours just to be safe)

Looking good man. With a slightly lower ride height, it will sit nicely IMO.
