As several of you know, after about 8 years of racing my MX5, I decided to try something different.
Last year I bought a 1974 Lola Formula Ford as a winter project. It came as a bare chassis and boxes and boxes of bits. The only thing that was partially assembled was the transmission.
Well, winter turned into spring and spring into summer, but it's finally just about complete. Only the alignment to do and it's ready to hit the track.
The first photo shows how it was 9 months ago and the other two as as it is now.

Old faithful Cortina GT engine.
All of 105bhp but the good guys lap Hamptons in 1m 13s.
