offset is to high on the buddyclubs will hit stock springs

I approve of the basketweaves

Enkei's are good but they have a staggered tyre setup which I do NOT approve of

Yeah, I saw the P1's but size isn't right, the BBS would be good (better than wolfs imvho by 1 zillion miles) - the RP-F1's titilate me but I like the extra air in a 15x8 w/225's... if I went to RP-F1 it would need to be 16x8 anyway, not going narrower than 8".

All better than wolf again imvho.

There's always good rims on TM, philx has some BBS RS which I am seriously considering... then again I already have the WORK rims on the car, with the RAYS which no one will buy sitting lonely in the garage.

I look at these too... but I think the market price is more like 2k unless someone wants this pain job exactly (I wouldn't) - otherwise great rims.

Had a good look at the trademe wheels and thanks for providing them.
had seen the enkeis before and tempted but by the time i get them all refurbished..basically get bugger all for the tyres as both different profile they become a bit more than i want to spent.
dont really like the look of the weave..great on a euro but not on an mx5.
and no way would i pay $2500 for a set either.
still liking the wolfs.. 8) ..apparantly they are black centres with machined polished lip.

I paid 700nzd for my RPF1 wheels plus shipping so it'll probably end up a grand shipped inc tyres. Try look overseas?

Thought that was pretty good seeing as I paid 840 for a set of 4 tyres earlier this year....

where did you buy them from? as shipping seems to be as much as the goods.

From the states and put in a container. I find the customs and tax the killer, not shipping so much.

I rate those. Comes down to personal preference tbh. Buy something LIGHT, and something you find aesthetically pleasing as you'll end up looking at them every time you get into your car.

I can't help you on that one sorry. I've never had traction problems with stock power/stock suspension with 195 (or 185)/60/14 tyres but I haven't exactly pushed my car to the extreme limits.

Slowly the suspension side of things are being upgraded but I'll end up sticking with 195/50/15. New Year's resolution is to spend more time on the track though :D

This is the look I'm chasing. Just add some popup lights, black centre caps and a black hardtop and voila

Heres an incentive to be careful about what you buy. Also the comments are good for a laugh

I have some Toyos but it seems they wear pretty fast but have good grip.(Depends how you drive I guess)

My prefence is Potenzas but they cost 3 arms and a leg.

Yokohama S-Drives
Potenzas
Toyo T1R(Trampios as well)
Pirelli P-Zeros

All top notch tyres, and all cost a fortune

My RE002's I got hella cheap at $185ish a corner, my RE001s lasted close to 40k and these are supposed to last just as long, if not longer. So when you consider it's $150-$170 for a T1R that lasts less than 20k (about 17k before failing a wof on my old Primera) I think they are actually really good bang for buck.
Cool sunroof bro...
