Replacing water pump inlet - What else to replace?

Hey guys,

My car's started leaking from the water pump inlet pipe, just on the 90 degree hose nipple leading to the thermostat housing bypass hose. The thermostat housing's steel T has also corroded so I'll be replacing that while I'm at it.

Just wondering while I'm in that area what else I should replace. I'll have the air conditioning removed as it's non-functional and wouldn't be used even if it were functional anyway. I'm planning to replace all the radiator and heater hoses while I'm at it also, as well as the radiator itself as it's all rather rusty in there.

Drive belts-timing belt-idler & tension pulleys. [only if they need it or showing signs of wear].Maybe even the cam-shaft & crank-shaft oil seals plus rocker cover gasket if you want to get carried away!

If you have the cam cover off, don't a dab of gasket sealant in the 90* corners on the front cam retainers and the rear one over the Cam angle sensor.

Yeh, my bad. Weird touchpad on this laptop flicks the cursor around while you are typing and you end up overtyping.

Cheers guys, will pass on to the mechanics fixing her up. So far I've picked up a new 52mm aluminium radiator as well as replacement radiator, heater and bypass hoses, as well as the pump inlet pipe and probably the thermostat housing.

Frustrating as it is not having it to drive, as well as dreading the cost when it's fixed, I'm excited nonetheless

Fix it yourself :p My waterpump was leaking recently, and even with absolutely no mechanical experience I was surprised how easy it was to replace the cambelt and everything. The parts were only $280 or so, but thats for all the seals and belts and gaskets etc

Unfortunately I've got neither tools nor space to do so, and need it on the road as soon as possible. I'm big on doing things myself (did my suspension and do my own maintenance) but taking apart the front of the engine to fix the water pump/inlet/etc. leaks takes time, tools and space I don't have at the moment
