I have studied the "M-tuned coolant re-route" kit & the thermostat is miles away from the back of the head [exagerated]so this design must be wanting too as no flowing water is anywhere near it [just stagnant water until the temp creeps along the hose to it.

The Begi one definitely seems the safer option!

Today I put a whole lot of items on the credit card. Visa will cover it for the next while ;)
Bought myself:
- FM 4 pot group buy Willwoods
- 949 Racing RB exhaust
- other misc stuff that I figured would be covered by the shipping...

Next item on the car will likely be the Fast Forward Supercharger next year when my parents sail to the states. Hoping I can get the FFS delivered to them to save on shipping and GST if they bring it back on the boat...

Not sure if this is something I did to my car, but given the abuse it received on the skid pan, perhaps it counts

Fitted my new black floor carpet and glove box. Black carpet looks SOOOO much better than the tan! I wish I knew someone in the industry who'd sew up some black leather for my seats, it's insanely expensive to get it done otherwise!
Cool sunroof bro...

Yeah it would have cost me leather + beers. Can't beat that price! Haha.

Realistically it'd still be around a grand starting price I think, I can't justify that kind of money for factory seats.

For $1000 you may as well buy a set of custom racetechs, and get them to make them in black leather. Depending on the seat you chose, it mightnt set you back a lot more. I'm planning on going for racetechs in mine, but wanna get them done in brown leather/vinyl for pure porn styz.

I haven't had a proper look at my panels from Sunday (though they're bloody filthy!), but I'm pretty sure I didn't hit any cones hard enough to cause any damage

Here's what I got up to a few weekends back and didn't post about. Freshly painted new rims, matt black mirrors. Id already painted the windscreen surround a couple of years back.

Nek step, lowering springs :)

Wasn't my car (put one of my race seats in, does that count), but thrashed my brother's MX5 around Hampton Downs, sliding all around on stock road tyres (car is pretty much stock all round), especially in the wet, pined for my car (well when the track was dry). Bit slower this time round than the last time that I used his car, fastest 1:32 in the wet, 1:27 in the dry.

Thought about pulling the dash off the NB, but that's about as far as I got.
