Selling cars is blimmin hard work at the moment. I'm trying to shift my WRX right now too and the only offers I've had are for swaps that I'm just not interested in.
To keep things on topic, here's my new roll bar fitted and the car out of the garage to enjoy it! I had a bit of an incident with a blowing turbo pushing bits into my engine so I managed to get those out without too much damage done, slapped it back together for now while I build a new engine (enough pitting on a piston to concern me but I didn't want to let go of a good summer of motoring). Ahem. Here it is...

Looks the same bar as mine - chassis feels so much tighter with a bar than without!

Maybe one of them will buy mine, its been for sale long enough! Wonder what I'm doing wrong with the ad?
I was just thinking that... just as surprised it hasn't sold.
Perhaps you need to overlay a pic of a hot babe in a bikini on your bonnet?

Heads up - I'm sick of trademe timewasters and lowball offers (you wouldn't believe how many people want to swap Hondas for it!) so am dropping the price on here first to try for a quicker sale to someone who will appreciate it.
$8250 to a forum member.
Swap ya my Honda...seriously....fark I wish I had the money -- instead I have a shed full of MX5 engines and boxes plus a couple of bodies :-/ so I'd better get to work making something from all that lot.
Good luck with the sale

for comparison, my much missed '96 turbo sold for $7500 about 3 years ago after being on trademe (and here) for over 6 months. I ended up stripping as much stuff off and selling it separately since no-one valued it altogether
Shoulda kept it !!
Hope you find the right buyerfor yours.

Ah well she's gone - like you I ended up taking $7500 for it and hanging onto a few extra bits to sell off separately. Bit sad to see it go but times change.

KJ's MX5 parked up during the cruise we joined on Monday.
Spot it in the lineup...

That's got more stretch than the the Subway guy!
As awesome as they look like that, they must be a real piece to drive.

A little stiff? Isn't that your life story Kieran?

.
I'm all for function over form, at least when it comes to the cars I drive.
By the way, those stickers I was telling you about last week, I've ordered 4 of them. Got one each for you and Mike as well as the ones for Zac and myself.

Wondering if I can justify rocking it when I've got a 24/7 hard top

You should put one of those rally style roof scoops in the hard top bro, haha. And you're not a real MX5 owner if you have the hardtop on all the time anyway

Haha Im one step ahead of you Im just getting the cash together atm
but I don't know whether to go 15x9 -10 or -5 or 0 cause I don't want to put flares on and of course NZ road laws say the wheel cant sit outside of the fender and even with a healthy does of camber i dont know if I will be able to roll my fenders that far
