Unfortuantly is seems the US is the best place for sourcing a different range of body kits, so if you aren't scared of bringing something in yourself, then there might be a good place to look

Those are just a couple of places that do different kits, my fav is the fastback kit from autokonexion, but way out of my budget.

But yeah... problem is shipping right?
Wish I can bring it to NZ in good price....
Yeah, shipping has been the thing putting me off from bringing one of them from the US, I have seen a wide body kit I would like to get, the kit itself wouldn't cost me that much in shipping as it is on the smaller size, but the bonnet and front nose section would cost me a small fortune because of the size.
Weight isn't the problem, just the m3 that it would take up, I am guessing about the $1K+GST mark going on the last set of gear I brought in from the US via a consignment shipment.

Number 5..
maybe instead of buying a stock car (i know you were looking at a 1998 auto), you should look at a car that already has the goodies for just a bit more...
something like a 1998 RS mx5 already has the bodykit/sideskirts and they come with a really nice 6 speed manual gearbox...
something like this...

is good buying as it already has the all the bits on it...also the insurance company may be a bit more understanding as it is a "stock" car as opposed to a car with a list of modifications.
