na or nb?

Post by doc » Wed Jun 01, 2011 11:19 am

Hi guys brand new to the forum and keen to buy another mx5. 3 months ago I sold my 90 automatic cos according to she who must be obeyed it wasn't getting enough use and occupieing valuable garage space. Truth is we needed the money too but not any more .Now I am missing it badly especially on sunny days so I am going to get another, car that is not wife, I loved the na pop up eyes an all but should I aim for another one or go newer with the 1800 donk ? that is the question only other criteria is must be a good one to replace the last one which ,though not a minter, was a really good little car for age and mileage

The NA also comes out with the 1800cc motor, so I guess it comes down to whichever one you think looks better. The only good thing about middle-aged women owning a majority of the MX5s on the road (don't argue, you know that it's the truth) is that they havent been thrashed, and most have probably had a good service history.
If it were up to me, I would go for a NA, simply because I like pop-up lights.
