I was doing about 1.52 GP and 1.59 full track with dipper.

And nice to see an NC getting driven ^^

Good work, quicker than me last time I was there. Was running 2:04s full+dipper, mind you I did have kingstar tyres on the back which went off every three laps and turned it into a drift car!

Will be interesting to see what sort of times the turbobeasty does.

Saw your car twice on monday Aidwano ;) on my way to and from Ruapuna, you were heading in the opposite direction both times. Waved but not sure if you saw.

I was taking it fairly easy after a few niggles with reliability at Teretonga and Levels but still had plenty of fun, was lapping around 1:54-55 for full+dipper (estimated from other cars around me as nobody timed me) and a 1:49 for the GP track while gooning around sideways.

Will post some photos once I finish sorting them out.

Heh, sorry about that Keiran. I had my eye on those wheels since Ross put them up for sale.

New wheels with nice sticky tyres on em. The plonker at the tyre shop overinflated the tyres, nearly at 40psi when cold. I wondered why the ride was so much harsher. Dropped back down to 30psi and what a difference!

Minilites

Post by Angreal » Mon Jul 18, 2011 5:16 pm

Just wondering, are the minilites also supposed to be light? Is that why they are so sought after?

Do it yourself. You can get the red crackle paint from Repco. I think that there is a thread somewhere on here about the prep required.
