Hi, can anyone recommend an honest & reliable workshop that specialises in MX5'S in AUCKLAND.I am still having problems with my 98 when cold, involving hunting and erratic revs.

City Garage in Queen Street were regarded as specialists at one stage. They were also a club sponsor and hosted a couple of Tech sessions for members.
TG Sports, classic roadster - modern technology. NA1800, 99 head, 11:1 +2mm Wiseco pistons, Link LEM, Alloy f/wheel, JR headers.

If you're on the Shore, Shell Lakeside workshop is honest and reliable and has worked on MX5s (mine) before.   I felt bad sometimes as it seemed like he wasn't charging enough (!!)

As friendly as they are, personally I'm not so crazy about City Garage after several experiences there.

HTH.

I think I'll give Shell Lakeside a go after I also had several experience with City Garage...
