New owner MX5 VSpec 1998

Post by Kiwibirkin » Tue Apr 12, 2011 10:12 pm

Hi guys just picked the car up tonight and then went for a wee drive covering about 150kms :). Car is a 1998 Vspec NB (I think thats correct) its in mint condition, and actually is in better condition than I thought it was, the body is very straight and tidy with no dings that I can see and the interior is very clean and tidy.

Car drives really nice not quite as stiff as the RS models I tried out but then we wanted a slightly softer ride which we have. The car will be pressed into service as my wife's daily driver and we will also join the MX5 club and see if there are any events happening in Christchurch we can get involved in.

I also own a Lotus 7 replica and run the Lotus 7 forum over at http://www.lotus7.co.nz which I started to meet people with similar cars so I figured I should join this forum and see what comes from it as I have made a lot of good friends over at my Lotus 7 forums.

Anyway some pics of the car (Trademe Pics as I dont have any myself)

Also a pic of Lotus 7 for you guys to have a nosy at
