Clutch
My clutch is about to give up the ghost, it's been biting at the top of the pedal travel for months and I noticed a little slipping this evening. Couple of questions... I've got the tools and knowledge to do the job, but no access to a hoist or pit, is it feasible to swap the clutch out with the car on ramps? I might put a small turbo or supercharger on the car in the future, so thinking it would be a good idea to put an upgraded clutch in, any recommendations? What do you stock broomfish?

hi tony
i can supply you with the exedy range, see below for details (Im assuming it is a 1600 series 1?)
Let me know what you are thinking of and i can price them up for you
Standard
Standard OEM replacement kits include the highest quality cover assemblies, clutch discs, and release bearings packaged in the distinctive EXEDY silver and blue kit box. With advanced dampening mechanisms, premium quality friction facings, and high quality cover assemblies, EXEDY clutch kits guarantee correct fit and function every time
Heavy Duty
The Heavy Duty (HD suffix) clutch kits are perfectly suited for use in lightly modified vehicles or vehicles carrying loads used for daily driving or in amateur motor sports activities. A high performance clutch cover with increased clamp load which will transmit an increase in engine torque is included in these kits with an organic clutch disc creating a performance clutch kit with smooth take off drivability.
heavy Duty Button
The Heavy Duty Button (HDB suffix) clutch kits are manufactured to meet the demands of various forms of amateur drift, circuit, rally and drag racing and are assembled from 100% new component parts. All HDB kits are supplied with high clamp load clutch cover assemblies and ceramic button clutch discs with sprung dampers.
Heavy Duty Cushion Button
Our Heavy Duty Cushion Button (HDCB suffix) clutch kits are recommended for use in moderately tuned vehicles that are driven on a daily basis.
This product utilises the positive aspects of an extremely durable ceramic material which has the capacity to transmit increased engine torque while maintaining a relatively comfortable engagement feeling attributed to the unique process of attaching the ceramic material to the clutch disc segment or marcel.
To complement these unique clutch discs, HDCB clutch kits are also supplied with high performance clutch cover assemblies with increased clamp loads.

Hi Peter,
I'll likely just go for a standard one, Supercharger is going to run over 4k for the kit alone, without getting into upgraded headers etc, so not really justifiable! I'll pick up as I work in Swanson. Can you recommend anyone to do the fitting out west? I'd do it myself, but dont have access to a hoist or pit.
