renting a mx5 for honeymoon in New Zealand

Post by niklas » Tue Jul 20, 2010 4:44 am

Dear MX5 people,

We have booked a flight to New Zealand to make a round trip to New Zealand for our honeymoon. And best way to travel would offcourse be with an MX5. Therefore we're looking for a MX5 to escape from the family saloon box option. We'll start in Auckland on October 23rd and finish in Christcurch on November 15th. Could anyone of you suggest possibilities to cheap and cheerfull rent a MX5?

Thank you!

Best regards,
Niklas & Evelien

Hi. There is a firm in Christchurch that rent MX5s. They may be able to get one to Auckland that you drop off in Christchurch.

There is also a small rental company in Auckland that has a couple of NA MX5s including one that is painted like a Union Jack. They don't seem to have an orange one though. They say oin their website that they will do one way hires to Christchurch, not sure what the cost would be though.
