ive had a look through old forum posts and everyone only talks about the horrendously priced overseas aftermarket low profile lights. is there no lights that can be used from a different car...rx7, astina....doesnt even have to be mazda.im just not the greatest fan of the round headlights
unless they look like pic below. hahahaha

most of the quad headlight conversions you around now use the Hella 90mm light units. one is a dedicated low beam and one a high beam. the low beam uses a shade in it to get the correct cotoff pattern and you simply flip it around for left hand/right hand drive.
they are used a lot in NZ on buses and trucks for custom headlight fitments.
they arent cheap though...the last time i looked they were around $200 EACH! (ouch) There was a place called susquehanna motorsport and rally lights .com selling them about the cheapest you could get them but i think they are no longer.
maybe you could look on trade me for some quad light conversions from other cars and rob the hella units outa them? Then butcher some factory housings to mount the hella units in??

ive actually always prefered the wangan look.having the lights recessed like on a 240z.common mod for 180s and fc rx7s.but i think the rake of the bonnet is too extreme so only the smallest of lights could be used which i rekon wouldnt be legal...damn
