come on - you need to practice the left hand lift and clip. I was travelling about 30kms/hr when I had to put the roof upKSCRIM wrote:OK who else got caught in the cloudburst with nowhere to pull over?? I've just got mine dry and clean again!!
(My arm was a bit sore though - hadn't had to put the roof up for a while)

lowering the top... So that the plastic window doesn't fold the wrong
way (he leaves it zipped up), he has a small hole positioned about in
the middle of the window which he sticks a finger in and pulls toward
him... (it is actually a split window by the looks of it... but is dual
purpose...)
Luckily, I don't have to worry about splitting my rear window... the zip
has been broken for about 4 years
Actually, I did thing about taking the hard top on Sunday but my 3 year
old wouldn't let me...
growler was driving in front of me... I saw his excellent method ofi used to be good at the flip and clip - roll bar gets in the way now

Re: Nationwide Promo Tour
Ummm yes...
The zip has broken so I sewed the window closed. Because the plastic has hardened over time the window split a couple of weeks ago.
Becuase the downpour had stopped I put the roof down. As I didn't want the split to get any worse I used my finger to help "fold" the window as the roof went down (While I was doing this I did comment to my partner saying...I wonder if Zorruno can see my finger! [with no sexual tones either!]).
I have a brand new soft top with glass window all packed up at home ready to install once I find the time to do it. As the car mainly comes out during the summer it hasn't been a high priority...)

Wellington antics
Here is a link for todays onenews coverage of the Wellington run, if anyone missed it on TV.

It was a very fun day for most (but maybe not for some truckies!), weather held out for most of the time in the city.
