Anyone keen on a swap??

Post by Habanero666 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 11:07 am

Guten Tag, Konnichiwa, Kia ora, G'day NZ.

I am wanting to swap my perfect condition E-Z ON brand U.S.A, soft top (complete, unbolted, always garaged) for a same condition hard top with attaching hardware ( I have the frankenstein bolts).

Due to a up coming increase in power, I will require a hard top for additional saftey and rigidity.

Serious offers please PM me.

At the risk of being unhelpful, im not sure a hardtop will add any more chassis rigitity than a soft top.

You may be correct with regards to the chassis.

I am aiming for roof rigidity incase of the unlikely event of flipping, rolling, tumbling, cartwheeling, bursting into flames etc.

The roof would help with aerodynamics but wouldn't you want to run a cage inside the car? Even a halfcage?

In the event you do end up flipping, rolling, tumbling, cartwheeling, bursting into flames etc, can I have the parts that are left??? :D :D

Hahahahaha Growler, I will write you as the sole recipient of the smoldering heap thats left over in my Will

Yes it will be getting a half cage and some underside brace work aswell.

Oh yeah Ham,
I am re-engineering from " Roadsters are Fun " to " Coupes are Fun " I guess? I prefere to have the lid up to be honest, as there are less chances of being sucked out of your seat @ 21psi boost
