Actually Black is not a colour I am told

2k or base clear no difference except 2k will fade faster paint it silver that will hide the dirt

or beige (beige is the new black)
or not polish your car for acouple of months and go mat pink(mat pink is the new mat black)

Nothing wrong with black! Apparently if you add black to white paint it makes it go whiter so i suppose if you add white to black it will go blacker!!!!!

i think you should just add some white to some red and paint it that colour

MX5 drivers can be sensitive! I just about got taken out by a 60+ year old for looking at his car today!

I think 17 inch wheels make em look like a roller skate, glad I didn't let that go in front of him...

Putting the car back together tomorrow as just got it out of the spray booth 1 1/2 hours before this foto was taken. Next week will do under bonnet.

Next week Shall be fitting a mazdaspeed bumper just to shape up the rear end.

The above pics have been taken this morning and the car looks like this straight off the paint gun! I will have to wait 2-3 weeks to cut and polish and then wax it.

Thanks a whole heap to Ian Mc and the boys for paint and prep work, also a big thank you to Crazy Will Cook for the use of the PPG spray booth! ( good luck at Taupo, Try not to kill the supra again! )

Thanks, yes the all the lights + reflectors have been RX 7'd, except the headlights.

to be honest im not a fan of the clear/chrome tail lights but i always thought they would look good abit darker

I always thought the "carbon" ones looked better than the gaudy chrome ones. The round lights match the overall circular motif of the MX5 better than stock.

Yep fair comment, I smoked the lenses as I think the cars look a little too "chinese" with too much clear+chrome.

i think if i did it i would take the lenses off paint the housings black then smoke the actual light lenses inside
