I would like to fit a pair of spot lights to my 1989 MX 5 NA.
Would anyone please advise what is a good set to buy that is easily fitted, I assume I would fit them in the grill nextto the towing lugs?

Try Ross at www.mx5mart.co.nz , when I last looked they were around $200
with wiring and switch (plug and play the original wiring)

Depends on whether you want fog lights or driving lights. I suspect most of the ones Ross will have will be the OEM fog lights but he may have others as well.
PS those lugs are actually for tie-downs when the cars are in transit. They can be used for towing but that was not their primary purpose. They are very heavy and are one of the first items to remove if you want to reduce weight from the car.

IMHO the factory yellow one's are awful, you can get some nice flat oval
ones from Repco for about $120 , at least you used to be able to, I have
some I never got around to installing and now I have the intercooler I can't
fit them. $50 with wiring if you so wish. PM me with your email and I'll
send a picture.
