rocker cover question
hi - not quite sure what you want to accomplish, but if you mean a factory rocker cover with the cam gears exposed there's none that I know of unfortunately.
The carmakers , I believe, have the cam gears covered to keep out debris, hair and lawsuits!

Although exposing the cam wheels adds some "bling" factor you do have to be careful with stones etc flicking up off the road and getting in between the belt and the wheel.
This can cause the belt to jump a tooth or to come off completely.
This happened to a frind of mine some time ago.
He had a racing Mini with the Twin Cam head from England. He not only stuffed the engine he distroyed the head as well.

ok i found one and if anyone wants to know its off, a ford capri convertible twin cam thought that was wierd, and it doesnt even say ford on it
lucky trip to pick-a-part i guess
$7 cant beat that
has vent tube at the back so i need to move the coil packs but thats no biggie.
so, theres a rocker cover if you want to get your "phat camz" out without cutting your rocker cover up
actually looked pretty good when i sat it on there. i will put a pic up when i sort out some plumbing for the vents and polish it up.

Looks good. I picked up an early cam cover off a 1.8 Astina and after cleaning it up have given it a coat of wrinkle red.
After pulling about a quarter of a kilo of stone chips out of my sump guard after Targa Bambina, I will be fitting the early plastic pulley cover as well. This gives easy access to the pulleys without having to remove the cam cover. It is actually all part of a series of developments which includes a coolant reroute. The early pulley cover will only fit if you get rid of the water outlet/thermostat housing at the front of the engine. But that is a whole other story.
I have a pic showing it on the bench with Toyota COPS in place, waiting to go on the head but can't seem to post attachments at the moment.
