- find and reinstall stock ECU (and injectors)
- put on the "go-slow" mods ...

What????? Why????? Oh No, Don’t telling me you’re leaving the world of MX5’s, just upgrading to an NB/NC I hope!
What are the bucket seats out of? I tried a few after market seats but always ended up sitting too high.

Jif, I wish I'd known you were repowering your rack, I could have saved you the job as I am looking to depower mine.
Other activities, had to replace the gearbox as the synchros on reverse were worn so that I could not engage 5th. Replacement box is in, now just tightening everything back up before the Pukekohe sprint on Sunday.

Ummm.... Scruffy white hardtop now repainted classic red and has a 3mm tinted lexan rear screen screwed in place. Entire softtop in the garage as a weight saving measure.
Momo gear shift knob for added 'bling'.....to compliment Momo Commando s/wheel.
An imminent move south to Q'town mean a reaquaintance with Teretonga and the proposed new Cromwell circuit is on the cards.

General maintenance - bearing on the gearbox input shaft is noisy (so I'm told), replace the clutch (as it slips on the odd occassion) and if things have to come out then why not look at replacing with an 1800?
cheers,
Mark

jif if you want to change your ecu
you will need to rewire it before you plug it in (as I rewired it for the link)
or you will need to get a93-95 1.8 ecu .
