Good find Jif, and I think you should subscribe immediately!

And if you could kindly tell me when it arrives so I can pop over for a coffee and a wee read :-)

I don’t collect magazines, so if you give me your postal address I’ll send it on. You can judge for yourself if it’s any good.

The first issue of Forever MX-5 is currently on press. What you've confused as being our first issue is the reprint of the 1989 issue we mailed to the first 1000 new subscribers. The debut issue of the new magazine drops to the Post Office on Monday.

And FOREVERMX5 arrived in the mail today. Similar to the old Miata Magazine with featured cars, project cars and product stuff. A bit of motorsport too. The feature car that held my attention the most was a Targa car (for the Newfoundland Targa), 1800 normally aspirated putting out 200 hp. Actually its 2020cc (via a stroker kit) higher compression, a head job, cams etc.
cheers,

Mark

Hi Mark...

The Targa car is the subject of an ongoing build that I have been following for the last 12 mnths via Keith Tanner's website (linked thru Flyin' Miata site)...lots of interesting stuff from which I got some info for my lightweight hard top etc etc.

Cheers, Ian :D

HI Mark

The direct link is http://www.targamiata.com/index.php

Kieth has set the site up with a blow by blow account of every step of the preparation of the car. Mind you it helps when you have a lot of trade support as well, particularly the development that went into the suspension package.
