Just thought someone might be interested. I personally don't know much about this organisation but figure any track time is good time. I have paid up for the day.

Has anyone been to any of their track days in the North Island.
Play Day on Track at Ruapuna on April 26th

Yes.
They were originally known as the MR2 playdays, run by 2 members of the MR2 club (Gary regularly runs his MR2 in the Targa). They run track days at Taupo and Manfield and late last year ran their first Ruapuna event (in the pouring rain unfortunately). Any non single seater is eligible.
They are great fun and relatively cheap with heaps of track time. They allow 12 odd cars on the track at once about 5 seconds apart but that doesn't last long. Its up to you to select who you share the track with. Passing is only allowed on the straights, but again that also doesn't last long. Any contact however unintentional and however little damage and both cars are sent home with no debate or discussion. The event runs all day and once you finish your run you line up for the next. Last time I was on Taupo I got about 8 sets of 5-8 laps and I left about 3pm to drive back to Wellington. Others continued until about 4 so there is ahuge amount of track time for your money.
