Sadly my MX5 has found a new home.Sad to see it go as I had wanted one for along time but it just did not fit with our personal needs.
I have the following items available to sensible offers:
Cam cover gasket -unopened
A mint copy of Mazda Performance Handbook by Norman Garret
91 MX 5 Parts Manual on CD (with other MX5 related info included)
John Cooksons Book - Use & Interrogation of the Diagnostic Connector (including if I can find where I put it) the actual tool for diagnosing the fault codes
Sorry to leave the site as, although I have not been a member long I have enjoyed the banter that goes on.

G'day Gerry,
We've got a '91 car and could be starters for your items below. However
we're not familiar with either book, so wonder if you could comment please
on whether they've got plenty of useful info for low-budget home-mechanics,
and whether the performance book is all MX5 or is more general, and, in the
case of the diagnostic book, whether it's still useful if you don't manage
to find the associated tool?
Best regards,
Joan & Graham Hilder

Hi Joan/graham
The book is written by a guy who was on the MX5 Design Team. It covers the
History of the car and also has chapters such as:
Modification Issues,
Wheels & Tyres
Suspsension
Brakes
Racing
The Diagnostic Book is very useful in interpreting the problems - has a design
for your own probe to use with the book. However I have found the tool (its
made to the design in the book using an LED and a pen cartridge) so you won't
need to make one yourself- although never got a chance to use it before I
sold the car. Basically you plug it in and a LED flashes a number of times
and can tell you what if anything is causing a problem.
Happy for you to have it on a money back guarantee if that suits you better,
We can set a price and I'll post it all to you and if its not what you
expected then send them back. If you keep them then you can credit my
account.
You can ring me on 021-2779900 or 09-480-7745 if you want to discuss whats in
it further.
I am out tonight and will be away most of tomorrow but am home after 6pm
Cheers
Alan
