Has any one seen a copy written for the 1800cc (94 - 99) Miata?
I had one on order at a local book shop as it was to be published early this
year but!...no sign of it in any of the book shops here in Melbourne.
I emailed the publisher who said it was coming out this year but no word on it
yet.

Hi Phil
The 1.8 enthusiasts manual should to be available from Flying Pig at the
club web site
http://www.mx5club.org.nz/club/books/ $81 NZ
I don't know anyone who has ordered one however, but I'm pretty sure it is
available now - says it should ship in 10 days.
If anyone has one or orders one, can they get me a pic of the front cover
for the web site please?
I think shop manuals are available from US vendors such as
finishlineperformance.com, but are still pretty expensive (and very year
specific). Masses of info in them though - I had a look through one at
Mazda. If anyone is interested in bulk purchasing this or ANY item - I'm
happy to coordinate, just let me know.
Cheers
H.
PS can we borrow one of your gold medals...? We seem to be a little short..

Yep! i'll go with Micheal on this, everyone knows it as the " MIATA enthusiast's
manual" by Rod Grainger, dont even think about buying a MX5 workshop manual
from Mazda, they were $200 last time someone wanted to buy one.
Perhaps the club could invest in a few of these or buy a bulk purchase, " Rods
MIATA enthusiast's manual" they were $19 in the US, and they are really useful,
i haven't seen mine in three years each time i get it back someone wants to
borrow it.

RE: ManualThere was talk on the American list only in the last two months or
so, that the 1.8 version was finaly available.
So, get back in touch with the people you ordered it from, and tell then to
get their act together...)or get it from one of the many online
book-stores...
Fletch.
