Tyre recommendations Nangkings??

When I bought my MX5 2 years and 32 000 kilometers ago it was fitted with
Nangkings. Not a brand I had heard of before so I guessed they might be an
Asian cheepie. They seem to have worn well not that I do any high performance
driving. But I see Glenn doesn't comment on them favourably. Was just
wondering if anyone else out there has Nangkings and what they think of them.

They were on my car when I bought it. Got rid of them three days later.

They should have a warning on the side: Spirited driving with these
tires may result in death, unless it's wet, in which case you're
probably dead already.

I didn't really like them. I went with GIII's

Nankangs are used alot by the Drift racers..

One of my mates put a new set on his stockish WRX (in 2wd mode)

It lasted 5 laps of the track drifting before it exploded.

Sounds like we will never see Nankings used in formula One then.
Will look for something else when it comes time for replacement.
