anyone got an old/spare NA V Spec seat?

I'm wanting to replace my drivers seat in my 1990 V Spec. There's a hole on the edge where you get in, and it has been patched very badly and is a real mess. Ross/MX5 mart don't have any tan seats, nor does Mazspare.

If anyone has one, or just the top half of one (as it's only the back rest that needs replacing) please get in touch, either by PM or email

I saw one set on trademe yesterday, but they're black and I need tan. Thanks for the tip though. (Can still only see the one set for sale.)

have just been to Mazspare at rosebank Road, there's two seats in a smashed black NA in their racks. Driver's seat has rip to bumspot, passenger's looks OK. Mazspare advised the car has been there "a while" so frames may be alittle rusty. Will sell them cheap apparently.

BTW there's a green hardtop for sale there with all the fittings, $1500 ono.

very weird ... I called Mazspare yesterday and asked about seats and they said they didn't have any. Were they tan/leather, or black material? Also, are the top/back sections interchangable between passenger and driver? I assume the bottoms are opposites, but the upper parts look identical to my eye.

tan leather. Couldn't see if the top/back parts are interchangable, climbed up the rack to have a look but couldn't get inside.

thanks Peter. Taking a closer look it looks like the tops aren't interchangeable. But seeing as I couldn't get any sens eout of them on the phone I might go out there and have a look.
