Introduction

Post by Bazza » Sat Sep 16, 2006 11:47 am

Have just registered so thought I'd better let you know I'm out here..

Recently bought 1990 Roadster, painted white, hard top (black) and soft-top, from Palmerston North and had great drive home to Tauranga. In order to bring the Hard-top home obviously had to "wear" it but would have been a great trip with it down - fluked the weather.

Have been reading the forums to get a feel for the car, great informative reading. The only problem I had, electric boot release not working, I have solved so no worries guys.....

Have the papers on my desk to join the NZ MX5 club and intend to link up with whatever groups are available locally, i.e. Tauranga or Waikato.

Hi and welcome to the wonderful world of MX5 ownership. I'm the area co-ordinator for the Waikato area for the club and extend an invitation to you to come along to any of our events. There is a chapter in the B.O.P run by John and Shirley Spooner at The Mount PH 5748790. They are having a run to Rotorua on Sept 24, so give them a call and join in. Beware, ownership of MX5s is highly infectious. I am on my 5th MX5 in 5 years. Oh, and leave the hardtop in the garage- compulsive topdown on our runs. Cheers

Thanks Gordon, I'll give the Spooners a ring....

Monique, my H/Top is Black, however I can't see me parting with it unless
