Flat Batteries and charging...

Post by jif » Thu Oct 23, 2008 9:34 pm

Hi kk

Battery is in the boot, on the right hand side. If it says Panasonic
on the side you'll need to trickle charge it over 24 hours or so.
Otherwise it's a regular battery and can be charged like one.

Jumpstarting is fine either way, or roll-starting if there's still a
bit of power for the alternator.

After that you should take it for a nice long drive to charge up :]

cheers

It's in the boot/trunk. look at driver side and you can fine the cover that looks like black moulded carpet. If yours is very good condition, it still have snap ion button too hold din place. Just remover it and you can find it.

Oh we could have had fun with that... but don't worry on my first trip I had to ring Zoruno to ask how to open the fuel cap :)

Flat Batteries and charging...

Post by biff » Fri Oct 24, 2008 11:18 am

Hi and welcome,
You will find the battery in the boot, on the right hand side.
As for charging, a nice trickle over 24 hours should do it, battery chargers are sold at Repco, or Supercheap.
Cheers

 Ben thank you. I got a bit confused after reading forum on batteries...ie: tricklers or ticklers and slow charging this and that. So I can jump start it the normal way then? Karen
