Mx-5 door mirror

The bolt has rusted off that holds the mirror together,how do I take the mirror glass out so I can replace it.

very carefully. The black edge can be carefully prized out. I did one set of mirrior and they came apart OK. Another set the black bit was so brittle it came out in about 50 pieces. In the end I got a set of electric ones and fitted them. God luck and take your time.

see if you can heat it up a bit with a hairdryer to help thigs along a bit.
