Not as surprised as I am about the Mitsi!

Actually in 9 years of Subaru ownership the most expensive problems I've had have been punctures, so the Forester result doesn't surprise me at all.

Unreal, I read half the list and was suprised; Ford KA @22, Ford Cougar @27, Ford Focus @44, heck, I guess you can see why the USA car makers went bust.
