Hi, just bought my 1st mx5. 1990 eunos roadster ... can anyone tell me what the 'triple beep repeated 3 times' after ignition on/ off means. It's a quiet beep from behind the dash somewhere.
Alarm, immobiliser or what ? can't see anything that looks like an alarm anywhere. mmmmm
The car yard I bought it from is no help.
what is this ignition beep ?

That's it==== SOLVED
yep, I took the stereo 'head unit' off and it doesn't beep. That must have been it, ... a reminder to remove it ( if I want to )before leaving the car.
