I run a Miata parts business in the USA called MiataRoadster.
A customer of mine is seeking a 4.625:1 ratio ring and pinion gear set that will fit 1.8 Miatas, but was only available in the NZ market on 1995-2002 Kia Sportage (front differential). Unfortunately, I don't have a part #.
Could you please help me get in touch with a parts department at a Kia dealer in NZ?

One of NZs largest Kia Dealers (and a Chev Dealer !) is in Christchurch - the owners have a long involvement with motorsport in this country...hopefully they will be able to help. They are prolific importers of performance parts and engines from the US, so would also be able to get something to you.
