And after a wake up that I can't detail on a family oriented forum I got taken out for breakfast, then went on a road trip. Mary had done some asking around and compiled a mini targa of every ultimate drivers road in our end of the country, with the aim of having as much fun as possible without going too far above 100. Easily 6 hours behind the wheel, laughing like a crazy man all the way. Went through two tanks of gas, pretty much shredded a full set of tyres (the back are totally gone, fronts not far behind.) I never knew there were so many second gear corners in our neck of the woods!

Only one brush with death, when we went around a bend and met a tourist in a campervan driving on the wrong side. Had to go over the wrong side ourselves over a blind brow to miss him, but thankfully nothing was behind him.
