Clubsub Taupo Track day- Anyone keen?

Im heading to a track day at Taupo on Monday the 24th Sept run by ClubSub (Subaru club)

There are still a few spots open if anyone is keen and able- The 'benefit' of this trackday (as opposed to a PlayDay event) is that rollbars are not required so for someone like me, who intends to get one but hasn't yet, it's a good way to get back into tracking....and it's reasonably priced at $110 too.

Like any event of this type, it's not a 'race' but a chance to explore the limits of your car in a controlled environment. The cars are, obviously, mostly Subarus so will be pretty quick around the track, however, there are a few cars signed up around the speed of an MX5 so it would be good to get a larger group of these cars together.

You'll obviously need things like overalls, a helmet, a valid car license and a car that's had preparations in consideration for hard driving (good brake fluid and pads, tyres etc)

Pity it is a week day, and not in the weekend, my pads and brake repair kit have finally turned up, so wouldn't have minded scaring a few of the subbie boys with the wee beastie.
