I was reading miata.net also, they seem quite fond of the eBay GV lips you can buy. Reading up they say the genuine GV lip is fibreglass, while as the touge run and some other copies are made out of polyurethane which is what I thought the genuine was made from.

That one there is only $135, plus $65 international shipping which makes it $200US shipped. I'm having second thoughts about paying $370 for something which can be bought much cheaper elsewhere. Also if they're made of fibreglass count me out because I've been there, done that and spent many a dollar repairing smashed fibreglass lips with previous cars I've owned!
