I have talked to the track manager before, as my brother and I have been considering hiring the track at some stage (not sure whether we will ever do it), basically it is up to the hirer that has final say as to what is allowed on the track etc, they set down a basic set of rules that needs to be meet.
Still I wouldn't want to be in an open top on a track, without some form of rollover protection, and if it was my name on the dotted line on the piece of paper, not sure whether I would let one out there without it, but can't see a problem with having a passenger in the car, which the organised track days don't usually allow without a cage and harness.

I *think* manfeild might be cheaper, however its a much further drive from Auckland, considering it looks like I'll be the only Roadster-er coming up from the southern end of the island, it seems a bit extreme. And if we get OTP in Palmy, there's a greater chance of getting shanked.

^ That honestly scares the crap out of me

Well today I got a letter from Customs asking for me to pay $30 GST and $40 for handling and transaction fees... Sigh
I assume it's car part related
Oh and I got a courier call card saying I missed them which I assume is also car part related
And finally, I will adjust my headlights once and for all. It's only been 4-5 months?

generally speaking, as long as we keep this thread general, the the thread should generally stay on topic, therefore GeneralZ and his Sargentmods wont have a problem with the threads generalness and let it be as general as it istomtikki wrote:Your crazy sprsta, a General Chat thread will never catch on.

Considering what he's bought so far they probably have his name on file and just send him a bill every time a package comes through.siren676 wrote: Angreal - Think, what have you bought recently for $200?
I thought the cutoff for not having to pay gst was $400

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Just bolted my hardtop brackets on but in the time that I removed them (a year ago?) and my putting them on tonight, I've lost half the bolts so they're connected to the hardtop, but not to the chassis still... will need to empty out the garage over the weekend I guess
Yuss. Went to find beer and found them on top of the fridge! Go figure
And yes, I think Customs have a special account setup for me
