I need to know if the hard top fits all years.

Not sure to be honest!!! If i sell the white hardtop i
need to find a red one first. Im trying to get hold of
a guy selling a red one at the moment.my white one
will not come with the frankenstein bolts or side clip
points on the car.

Not every car has the attachment hardware, and some years have de-froster
wiring while others dont, but yes, the hard-top is the same for every year,
and if you have the mounting bolts and plates, a hard top from any year MX-5
will fit any other year MX-5.

they deliberately designed the NB (98+) to take the
same hardtop, and some other accessories, as the NA
('90-97). Neat huh?

Good thing they're Mazda , and not Micro$loth...!

I just don't get the hardtop thing.
Its a convertible.
Go figure.
I have considered it ad my local Mazda parts man asked...
So when would you want one then?
I frown upon the sunny day roof up wowsers...
Not that there are any on this list I'm sure...

...and to others it's a purpose designed, lightweight sportscar, with great weight distribution, rear wheel drive, double wishbone suspension and 4 wheel discs ! Oh, and a ragtop.
