Despite putting it in big bold writing on my startup checklist I still somehow managed to forget to remove the ST SIG fuse when I first fired up my new DIYPNP.
result = smoke and tears.
anyway, I have a dozen TIP125 transistors on their way up from CHCH so if anyone in the auckland area needs one I would be happy to sell you one, seems Jaycar/DSE don't have this sort of thing? shipping from the US is silly for a $1 component.

Ah thanks,
I ended up changing things to directly ground the wire in the AFM plug that comes from the circuit opening relay by connecting it to the fuel pump pin in the megasquirt via the 2O pin (4O on the MS).
This eliminates any future possibility of c**king things up again
Will have to find something else to do with my ten TIP125's now.
