NB FMII Turbo kit here?

Post by ccsfd » Thu Apr 28, 2011 11:34 am

Anyone running a Flying Miata Turbo kit on a NB in NZ?
as good as the website claim of 260whp? American dyno
results seem to read much higher most times

I know someone who has the FM2 kit on an NA. Not too sure about power figures but I think estimated was around 250??

Hi Horsepower, What are you up too? Are you thinking of buying a kit or
looking for comments on the performance of said kit?

Most stuff FM sells is pretty good i haven't heard a single bad comment about them.
If you do end up with that kit could you do a build thread i'm sure most people on here would be interested in that

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have had a few problems with the FM kit I have got, and some little details being left out (or that one person was aware of, and not the other), which has required modification for one item here in NZ, possibly due to a manufacturing fault, and the other item going to be junked (see my post under Discussions).

To their credit but, FM have come to the party and said that they will pay for the modification costs. The other item was a bit of a punt on my part to try and save some costs this end, and the person I was dealing with said that he wasn't sure but they may or may not work for a RHD car. Turns out they didn't and when talking to one of the technical guy's in FM, he said he knew it wouldn't but didn't know I was getting them.
