Intake pipe?

Post by warrior » Sat Oct 09, 2010 10:03 am

does anyone know where or who makes a "intake pipe" for the air filter. I want to get rid of the horrible plastic one but cant be stuffed making one. This is the inlet pipe that runs from the manifold across the engine and into the air filter

Decided to make one but have one more question for anyone. To make everything fit the way I need it to I will have to run the air flow meter on its side not flat like it normally is. I cant see this being a problem...I hope i,m right. Any ideas on this?

I ran mine in a vertical position for a short while and had no problems.
I have also seen them upside down.
They dont seem to be as critical as some make out so try it and see.
Although to be honest ,the fact that i had mine in front of the radiator sucking in colder denser air for my turbo may have a bearing on it.
