NA8 HKS Exhaust
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone would like to swap their factory NA8 exhaust for my HKS item (plus a little bit of cash)?
I'm trying to return my G-Limited to original condition (hence the sale of my wheels, etc)
Cheers.

I'd likely be keen if you wanted to straight swap, (mine exhaust is
stock, including cat) but I can't really justify MX5 expenditures at the mo.
cheers

Ah right, I wasn't clear. I meant cash my way. I was thinking about $100ono on top of whatever it costs to swap them over?
It's a genuine HKS item, don't want to lose too much money on it!
The other option I was thinking of, was to change the very tip of the exhaust so it looks standard, but that would mean butchering the HKS backbox which I'm not entirely keen to do :S

Oh, I see, how does one confirm that? The only markings I see are on the tip?Habanero666 wrote:Thats a Trust rear exhaust set up that uses the HKS super drager tip.
It is a nice system, with a nice sound too.
The system extends well into the factory heatshielding of the middle factory cat/reso, which also includes a post cat resonator.
There are reviews of the catback http://www.mx5.net/products/intex/hks_exhaust.htm (obviously only the NA ones are applicable )
Is anyone interested? The price is definitely negotiable. Still on a mission to restore factory equipment and condition.

I agree, the replacement cost for one of these would be huge, the cool
factor alone is worth the upgrade. I have some HKS Hyper D fully adjustable
front shocks I couldn't sell a while back, one of the best brands you can
buy. Hmmmm
