Turbo Manifold

Post by WideOpenThrottle » Sat Nov 07, 2009 5:57 pm

Now that i have removed the turbo from the GTI block i now need to source another manifold to mate the turbo to the NA 1600.
Whats the general feeling on what i should look for?

Cheers guys

Look for a T2 flanged jobbie that isn't a piece of shit from streetbitz on trade me, that would be a good place to start.

A GReddy manifold has a T2 flange, or build one yourself.

I am sure yours is a Garrett T25--? Nissan use Garretts as OEM supplier.

The "ChinaCharger" T3's available online almost anywhere are a pile of crap! Be prepared to trail smoke on 10psi after a month. If its cheap leave it alone.

I recently read an article from someone in U.S.A who had the front compressor housing split in half because the glue gave out- GLUE????
