Nice!
Should pulse along quite nicely. I think the rotary engine really suites the mx5 chassis. Would be great to have a 13bT or maybe a 20b
Anyway well done it looks like real fun!

13B MX5
Well it was a good idea to build a rotary mx5 but man is it loud ?.
Only had it on the road a day and have been pulled over twice .
It has 4 coby and a big boiler and it is still to loud. 109DB on idle and no way will it get a cert.
Will have to consider selling the bridgeport and build a mild port that i can turbo later.

Alot of exhaust noise reduction is done with a combination of a mid box and rear box. You might want to look at the systems that are used on cars that came with these engines as standard and try and copy the layout. Mid boxes have alot more of an effect on exhaust noise than you might think. Also there really should be sufficient space under the boot to mount a couple of back boxes (split pipe) which might help your cause.
Seems like such a shame to have to can the project cos of noise levels!
