Post by sprsta » Wed Mar 18, 2009 7:10 pm

got my T25 today seems to be all good i shouldnt even have to rebuild it.
thanks alot 2low2c for the manifold i have welded up anywhere i thought it may have a crack
i would rather have this manifold than any of those "high performance" ones from trade me
not long to go now
got an old evo 4 intercooler so will use that for now. but i would rather use something abit smaller like a vr4
so hopefully i should be boosted in acouple of weeks

cant wait

Really looking forward to see the results of this set up! Good to see what kiwis are doing with their Roadsters!

What is the level of boost you will run with this turbo set up?

Do you know the A/R of this particular turbo? I am at the limits of efficiency at 16 psi with a TD04.

Anyways good luck with the set up and looking forward to reading some more.

its just a small .54 a/r not planning on big boost as of yet probibly about 8psi can always upgrade to a bigger t25 or a t28 reasonably easy when i sort out some injectors

by the way i am the one who brought your link ecu chip

That manifold looks nice, and having it forward like that is a really good idea, if I were to make a manifold I would be doing something along those lines, you have heaps of room up there and it will make your downpipe so much easier.

Have a talk to the guys at what used to be Trade Parts, 151 Wairau Road. They are now Exedy NZ and stock quite a good range. The Japanese Exedy stuff is good but avoid the Aussie HD stuff.

HD clutch

Post by Habanero666 » Thu Apr 30, 2009 9:31 pm

If you PM Habanero666 for a HD clutch he will supply and it won't kill the bank account! I use one in mine and it's handling 16psi.
